Grammar: Adjective Types

Na-adjectives: Use なな before nouns

Shizuka na heyaしずかなへや → A quiet room

I-adjectives: End with いい and directly modify nouns

Ōkii ieおおきいいえ → A big house

Negative forms:

Na-adj: Shizuka ja arimasenしずかじゃありません → Not quiet

I-adj: Ōkikunai desuおおきくないです → Not big

→ That black one is. Ano kuroi kasa desu.あのくろいかさです
